I love your writing as always. I'm not sure I fully agree with Sir Tony as there's something of an old standard in there about pushing ourselves that I think our world is challenging now to shift. I love that we are in class though. It's learning time for sure!
100% get an AMC Stubs membership. It's 30/month (dirt cheap because generally tickets are 15) and there aren't any blackouts and it's so much fun to schedule at least a weekly movie outing. You can see up to three movies/week but I've never gone more than twice. (They don't mind if you bring your own food and drinks if you aren't shameless about it.). Yes there are already half-price days (T W) but I've found it's more convenient to just pay for the Stubs and get the free online ticketing. One of the funnest things we do every week.
