I’m crying. I started writing for Hello Giggles when I was 15 - I was in a wheelchair living in chronic pain and forced to leave school. I wrote a column each week for HG about baking, knitting and tv I loved. It was my first job, it taught me how to be a writer, how to stick to a deadline and learn what audiences like. It was also a reason to keep living in a world that had very few other reasons in it. 15 years later I’ve written 2 books, 3 tv shows and a million articles. My career - and my life - doesn’t exist outside hello giggles and your kindness friendship and love. Miss you and it every day xxxxx Scarlett Curtis.
I remember when Erin Foster would “go live” and one time Gigi popped in. I went to the UCB X Hellogiggles shows with my BFF and they were some of the best nights we had. One time said BFF and I went to your apartment and met with your assistant to pitch that HG should be on Pinterest, but she wasn’t quite convinced 🤣
I made a couple videos w Hello Giggles back in the day. What fun we had! Would love to be a part of anything reverberating from those vibrations again.
I loved Hello Giggles even as I was at the MALE DOMINATED Funny or Die :) Please start a female driven content stream, let us all work on it, then we build our own commune, it grows into a country and we matriarch the whole world. Too much? Too bad.
